Challenges

2 years ago the food chain had only 10 restaurants, today the counter stands at 35 and every year they plan to open 10 new locations. This rapid growth also immediately caused a major challenge: maximizing efficiency at all locations, including connectivity. Previously, each location handled its own solution; now, thanks to amplr, there is uniformity across all their locations.

The need for unified connectivity was translated into 5 concrete challenges:

  • Uniform Solution: Consistency in operational processes across all locations. Hawaiian Poké Bowl wanted to ensure that each location could operate extremely efficiently by standardizing equipment.
  • Eliminating Internet outages: If the Internet goes down, customers can't pay, orders don't come in, music drops out,... The challenge was to implement a robust Internet infrastructure so that the Internet never goes down.
  • Overview of network information: To effectively manage operations, Hawaiian Poké Bowl needs real-time access to network information across all locations. This includes the ability to monitor Internet performance and quickly identify potential problems before they impact the business.
  • Immediate Support: In case of technical or network failures, it is important that customer support is readily available to detect and resolve problems immediately.
  • Guest wifi: Allowing customers to use wifi for free during their visit.

Solutions

Amplr took a strategic approach to Hawaiian Poké Bowl. Find out what concrete steps we took here:

  • Complete renewal of local networks, both LAN and WiFi using quality equipment: This upgrade provided a reliable 4G/5G backup solution for the Point-of-Sale (POS) network. In other words, if there is a problem with the WiFi network, 4G/5G takes over so that the POS system always remains operational.
  • Installation of guest wifi for optimal customer experience and for valuable customer insights: a unique captive portal allows all their customers to use the guest wifi for free. Through a branded landing page, the chain can collect valuable data and create targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Install amplr.cloud software: with this integration, Hawaiian Poké Bowl has a real-time centralized view of network performance and management across all their locations. This solution has increased operational efficiency by 30% and reduced on-site technical support by 90%.
